This tracks touches on my gripes with the public education system here in the States. A lot of it is regurgitating facts. Some of those facts, namely some dealing with history (among others,) are spun in a way condoned by both state-level and national-level boards of education. In addition, once people graduate or otherwise leave, a lot of what we're taught isn't particularly useful in the working world.
Regardless of what we learn in educational facilities, this track is meant to convey the fact that we can gain a lot of knowledge from those around us. We can also look back on how our choices up until any given point in our lives affects how we're able to circumnavigate the world around us so we're ready for any obstacles the world throws at us.
Indiscreet I walk the street with the knowledge
Learning about things that you can't in your college
Like science from the pavement, beats from the basement
A mouthful of lyrics in the label makes the placement
from Waking Up,
